This is not my main journal. In fact, I probably won't be posting in it very often at all. However, in light of the fact I tend to kind of cheese people off with my politics I'm moving political/poli-economic entries over to this journal.

IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED BY VIEWPOINTS THAT YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH, DO NOT FRIEND. It will just make you unhappy.

IF POLITICS MAKES YOU FEEL THE NEED TO THROW PERSONAL INSULTS, DO NOT FRIEND. On a related point, if something I say makes you want to scream, throw things, and loudly insult, direct it towards me (I promise I won't take it personally). But keep it directed towards ME, not other posters.

IF YOU LIKE ARGUING ABOUT POLITICS, PLEASE FRIEND. I am open to hearing other people's opinions, whether I agree with them or not.

Loud Disclaimer: I'm an economic conservative who does not actively keep up with politics. I'm a social moderate. You'll see that my economic conservatism overtakes my social moderation considerably. Don't sweat it, unless you have to. That's why it's a fresh new journal for the subject! =D

I'd like to think I have a unique viewpoint on this because of the following:

1) I am in a low-paying job.
2) I just lost my health-care insurance through my job.
3) I am recovering from H1N1, am a smoker-working-on-quitting, and thus at a very high risk for secondary infection pneumonia.

In short, Government, dear, would you mind freaking butting out of my life for two seconds? I'm not very good at handling it myself, but believe me, you're doing a worse job. Thanks.
